For the month of June

The Elders would like to invite you to join us in praying for our church each month. We believe that the prayers of God’s people are powerful and effective (James 5:16), and sometimes we have not because we ask not (James 4:2). We have been asking God to do some big things this year: increase our weekly attendance by 10%, increase our yearly baptisms by 10%, and increase our discipleship relationships by 10%. By God’s grace, we have seen Him answer our prayers in some mighty ways.

Currently, our weekly attendance is up a little over 10%, we are preparing for our final baptism service on June 9th where we need just 4 baptism candidates to meet our goal, and more than 200 adults–not counting our teenagers–are currently in discipleship relationships. So, on this final month of the fiscal year, would you join us in both prayers of petition and thanksgiving?

• Thank the Lord for the new people He has brought to Faith, and ask Him to continue to bring us more;
• Thank the Lord for the 20 individuals who have already been baptized, and ask Him to prepare the hearts of more who will be baptized on June 9th;
• Thank the Lord for those who are currently in discipleship relationships, and ask Him to draw together others to join in discipleship relationships.
