Women's Ministry
The Women’s Ministry at Faith Community Church, welcomes women of all ages. We seek to help women find connection and community in a variety of ways including bible study, fellowship opportunities, book club, and our large group events – Conference, Retreat, and our Reali-Tea.
Bible Studies
Diving into the texts of scripture is essential for our growth and maturation, which is why we offer both morning and evening study sessions to accommodate a myriad of schedules. A delightful advantage of joining one of our gatherings is the cherished fellowship and sense of community you’ll discover among fellow women.
Fellowship Events
We tend to spend time with those we have things in common with and while that is good and encouraging, we are called to be in relationship with women who are older and younger than us as well. Our goal in the Sister Stories and Titus 2 Fellowships is to provide a space where you have opportunity to interact with women of all stages of life, in hopes that discipleship relationships will naturally form.
Large Group Events
We host two large events each year.
- Reali-Tea: we come together to share food and fellowship; to sing God’s praises, and hear testimonies, but the primary goal of this event is to invite those who haven’t experienced God’s love to a community who will welcome them warmly.
- Conference/Retreat: we spend one weekend a year with an extended time of teaching, worship, and prayer. Every other year we go away and the off-years we host this in our own facility. When we have uninterrupted time there is more opportunity to make deeper connections and get some alone time with Jesus.
