Faith Community Church was born in 1984 out of the vision of five families in the Santa Clarita Valley for a new church to reach our fast-growing community. A Bible study was formed as plans were laid for the new church. The name “Faith Community Church” was chosen, with the first service open to the community held on Easter Sunday 1985 at the Hart High School cafeteria, which became the church's first home.

The church experienced steady growth, and in September 1989 moved into a rented facility on Golden Triangle Road in Saugus, where a second worship service was added in the fall of 1992. In 1995, the church added a third worship service. During this time new developments included our Student Ministries Department, the AWANA program and other Children's Ministries, choir and music ministries, college ministries, several new missionaries and short-term missions opportunities, Adult Bible Fellowships (ABF's), His Little Lambs Preschool, and a home-school program called Santa Clarita Faith Academy (SCFA).

In August of 1998, the church temporarily relocated its worship center to The Master's College campus to allow for ministry expansion and preparation for our own building.

Then in August of 1999 the Lord moved us to the Newhall Seventh Day Adventist church. We are grateful to the Lord for His provision as we were awaiting our final move to the new Meadowridge property.

Finally, in 2003, God moved us onto our own permanent facility, located at 24620 Meadowridge Drive, off San Fernando Road, behind the Meadowridge Apartments.

By God's grace, the church still continues to grow, and our current pastoral staff includes 2 full-time pastors and 2 part-time pastors. God is ever faithful to all of His promises, continually pouring out His tremendous blessings on Faith Community Church through the years. We are thankful for all He has done, and we eagerly look forward to all He will do.

“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” --2 Corinthians 9:8
