Missions at Faith Community Church is now expanding into three different aspects. International missions, Local Outreach and Church planting. All three missionary strategies work together for training and mobilizing our body towards reaching the world and our community for Jesus Christ.

Foreign Missions Team

The mission of reaching the lost with the complete Gospel of Jesus Christ is the calling of the whole church. As Jesus commanded, this is to be carried out from here to around the whole world.

The International Missions Team (Foreign Missions Team) works with FCC's pastors and elders to elevate the church's vision for the lost around the world to ensure guidance and assistance for those whom God calls from our body. The team seeks to guarantee all current missionaries have the support structure, counsel and accountability needed to effectively fulfill the ministry to which God called them.

For increased organization and effectiveness the International Missions Teams have divided this undertaking into a number of segments, each with a task:

BUILDING VISION Grow the culture within FCC that sees and cares about the world as God does. Excite all in the church about reaching the world for the glory of God.

TRAINING AND MOBILIZATION Help to prepare those who are called to go so they can effectively minister as part of FCC's body overseas. Work to ensure the process of going is both smooth and efficient.

STRATEGIES FOR FIELDS Adopt whole missionary fields and work together as a church to ensure the success of the ministry. FCC views the work in the field as an extension of the local church.

MISSIONARY CARE Provide oversight for the care of our missionaries. Help to ensure the effectiveness of those we send out by reminding them of our love for them and for the ministry they do as part of FCC's leadership team.

STANDARDS Train and equip those going overseas according to the principles of Scripture as well as the values of FCC.

STRUCTURE Strive to ensure that all of the processes and programs function in an efficient and orderly manner.

* Pray for us
* Pray for our missionaries
* Look for missionary updates in the church newsletter
* Use the missionary handbook to learn about our missionaries and determine how you can care for them and participate with them.
* Participate in the monthly Missions Prayer Time
* Go on a short-term missions trip

Local Outreach Team

FCC is currently assembling a team of people who have a passion for reaching souls for Jesus Christ. This team will be meeting to pray and to plan how we as a church can better mobilize to reach our local community. We will work to include current outreach ministries as well as developing strategies to help our Life Groups to reach their neighborhoods.
