Children's Ministry at FCC exists to support parents in the discipleship and training of their children so they will mature in their love for God and for other people. We believe that God's Word shows God's love and concern for children by giving specific instructions to parents and the church in order to train children and respond to Jesus in faith and obedience.

Our children's ministry categories consist of the nursery, sunday school, children's worship, and AWANA, please see below for a detailed description of each. Nursery

In our nursery, children are cared for in a loving and nurturing environment. This promotes positive first church experiences for newborns to 24-months-old. This ministry provides parents with the opportunity to worship, fellowship, and study God's Word in an uninterrupted fashion.

Time: 9:00 AM - 10:45 AM, or 10:45 AM - 12:15 PM Sundays. Also available Wednesday evenings.
Location: FCC Sanctuary Level
How you can be involved: Volunteer to serve on an every 6-week rotation, clean-up, purchase supplies as needed, laundry, and/or serve on Wednesday evenings.
Participation: Babies from newborn to 24 months are welcome on Sunday morning and for all Sunday evening services. Wednesday evening nursery is provided for babies of AWANA Leaders and Choir members.

Sunday School

Age-based classes where children learn to grow in Bible knowledge, Christ-like character, and faithful conduct.

Time: 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM Sundays.
Location: FCC Campus
How you can be involved: Teachers, Assistant Teachers, Substitute Teachers, Set-up, Clean-up, Puppeteers, Administrative/Clerical Help, Event Planning.
Participation: 2-year-olds to Pre-K during both services. Kindergarten through 4th grade during the 10:45 Service. 5th and 6th grades during the 9:00 AM service.

Children's Worship

A time where children (Kindergarten -- 4th grade) worship God through singing, giving, praying and learning.

Time: 9:00 - 10:15 AM Sundays
Location: FCC A10
How you can be involved: Worship leaders, vocalist, instrumentalist, occasional teaching opportunities. Participation: Children from Kindergarten through 4th graders are welcome.

AWANA

A weekly Bible Club for children ages 3 years through 6th grade. The goal of our club is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. We use proven materials and methods to help kids memorize Bible verses and to understand them. A typical club night consists of three main segments: an active Game Time geared to each grade level; a Handbook Time for reciting Bible verses and completing other achievements; and a full-group Council Time when the gospel is clearly presented and kids are challenged to Christian living and service. A series of awards and trophies reward achievement at every level as the kids progress.

CLUB LEVELS:
Cubbies - Ages 3 (as of Sept. 1st) and 4 years old (maximum 30 children)
Sparks - Kindergarten through 2nd grade
Truth in Training - 3rd through 6th grades

Location: FCC Campus.
How you can be involved: Directors of clubs and games, leaders, leaders-in-training (jr. and sr. high school students), secretaries, listeners, nursery helpers, AWANA store helpers, special events helpers, set-up/take-down helpers, worship band/singers, etc.
Participation: children ages 3 years (as of Sept. 1) to 6th grade.
